A LETTER - FSHN AND THOUGHTS

During everyone’s childhood, there seems to be a consistent question: what do you want to be when you grow up?
My family know that this question has had a variety of different answers over the years, some more reachable than others.
Having a sister who knew what she wanted to be since forever, it felt daunting as I got older. As if I didn’t have any interests or hadn’t realised what I was good at yet.
But that’s just the doubts that follow you when you’re in your mid-teens thinking that you must have everything figured out. I’m twenty-one about to turn twenty-two (still feels weird to type that), and still haven’t, and I’m sure many people my age will say the same.
One thing I do have figured out, is my love for writing and all things to do with fashion. Being a constant aspiration of mine for the last seven years, it’s important to me now that I be transparent, and express the ultimate joy that these things bring me.
Hence the creation of Fshn & Thoughts, the linking of two loves in my life. As much as I like to call myself a fashion enthusiast, I’m also an aspiring journalist; this means that there are always going to be topics and issues that I want to explore and share through my own words. Basically meaning, this blog won’t always be centred around fashion.
This is my own personal outlet. Fshn & Thoughts will be my opportunity to expand and improve my writing abilities. I’ve written for a few other publications to gain some experience and solidify that this is what I want to do, so bear with me as I find my feet and create something that is uniquely mine.
I hope this blog will be as enjoyable to read as it is for me to write.
